At VPBC we are seeking to develop a ministry to meet the growing needs in the community. We encourage and support members of the congregation as they reach out and meet needs that they become aware of. We believe that this is more empowering of our people and the recipients than just giving hand-outs to those who come seeking.

COUNSELLING

At VPBC we have counselors with training, qualifications, experience and interest in various areas of counseling. This is done by appointment.

CAREFORCE – LIFEKEYS MINISTRIES

The various LifeKeys courses seek to give participants keys that will help them in situations like marriage dysfunction, separation, divorce, family breakdown, the destructive forces of shame and guilt, performance orientation, addictive cycles, co-dependency, insecurity, self-rejection, grief, depression, chemical dependency, sexual abuse, sexual addiction, eating disorders and more.
These courses are conducted by trained facilitators.

MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT

At VPBC we have a passion for helping marriages reach their full potential. We run a marriage preparation course for those who are engaged; we use PREPARE and ENRICH instruments as tools to help couples understand the strength and work areas in their relationships; we have a trained marriage counselor on staff and run The Marriage Course, a seven week course that can revitalize any marriage.
