Young Adults Ministry

YAM is a thriving versatile young adult’s ministry which incorporates Sunday night church, fortnightly life groups and social events to meet together and share about God.

Sunday nights include a dynamic worship time, applicable message and a social cafe and chat time afterwards. YAM is actively involved in ministry within the church including the worship team, Teenzone (Sunday morning), Sunday school, SHYFT, ProjectLIFT and much more!

Life groups throughout the week are held at different homes and gives chance for deeper discussion and accountability. We believe God has put us in community with one another for our benefit and regular time together strengthens the entire team.

Social events range from Hawaiian house parties, dive in movies to cafe and chat. Taking into account the hectic lives young adults have socials are kept to 2 or 3 a term.

Planning is underway for our first YAM overseas mission trip for 2013, which is incredibly exciting and will give opportunity to experience a different culture and see how God can use us to make a difference in other’s lives.
