Welcome from our Senior Pastor:

We trust that you are greatly blessed as you share with the church family at Victoria Point Baptist. Our aim is to be a family-based church with a responsibility to minister to the needs of our community. There are three levels that are important to us – our church family, the local Redlands community and overseas communities.

We give a great emphasis to a genuine, relevant and practical faith that is founded on God’s grace – not just saved by grace, but maintained by grace every day. The church family is diverse in both age and background. However, our unity is maintained by a focus on Christ, His teaching and example.

We encourage individual responsibility before God but depend on God’s desire for us to work together as a team. We also understand that ministry is what we all do. That may be at the golf club, the school P&C or any other environment that God has placed us in. Therefore we encourage people in the freedom they have to spend time in ministries outside of the church.

In recent times, we have been a healing place to many who have felt discouraged or disappointed with the weight and expectation based on duty and performance. We all seek to be active in our faith, however, discipline without desire is drudgery. We are motivated to serve God as a response of love.

We hope that if God confirms that VPBC is to be your spiritual home, you will actively seek to be a member of one of the many Life Groups that meet. They are a very important part of the churches identity and our pastoral care.
